Navy Goes Green, Unveils First Algae Fuel-Powered Vessel

The navy has finally decided to go green and keep the waters blue, turning to new eco-friendly equipment. The first of many more to follow suit, the navy has unveiled a green eco-friendly vessel powered by algae fuel. Nicknamed the Navy’s Corvette, this vessel uses some pretty awesome cutting-edge technology and the Navy hopes to create a Great Green Fleet of vessels powered by alternative energy within the next five years.
